Clarity Electric model is powered with a 161-hp electric motor, which draws its power from 25.5-kWh battery pack. Charging time for the battery pack is just over three hours. Last but not the least, Honda Clarity Fuel cell is powered with a highly-efficient hydrogen fuel cell that fits entirely under the hood. For the 2018 model, there has been a 60 percent increase in power density for the fuel stack, but it remains 33 percent more compact.
